Solidarity with Greek people, Greek Government and SYRIZA
We are together with Greek People and their government in their struggle for justice, equality and democracy and against austerity. Their struggle shows us that another Europe is possible.
Despite imposing austerity policies in 2010 and 2012 on Greece, the European Commission, the European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund still continue on those policies that lead up to dead end and without considering the democratic will of the Greek people they keep a strict negative approach to the Greek Government’s proposals.
It is known that negotiations with Greece have social and political impacts as well as economical one. We believe that apart from imposing austerity policies on peoples of Europe, there can be more reasonable agreements, which will be acceptable. We hope that other sides will give a positive answer to the Greek Government’s efforts in order to reach a compromise.
As a result of the deadlock in the negotiations, Greek Government proposed a referendum to Greek people on whether to accept the outline of the agreement submitted by the EC-ECB-IMF on the Eurogroup of 25th June 2015. The Greek Parliament approved, with the majority of votes, the government proposal for Referendum on Creditors’ proposal on July 5th, 2015.
In these crucial times, we reaffirm our solidarity with Greek people and their government. We express our solidarity with the Greek people, the Greek Government and with SYRIZA in favor of a Europe of sovereign nations, united in solidarity. Hereby once again we express our belief that an egalitarian, just and libertarian world is closer than ever.
The people united will never be defeated!
