@moniquei8 Travelling whilst black – part 2🫠 For those not understanding, as mentioned, we were the only black people on the beach at that time. The police officers arrested my husband without giving us any reason😳. Whole time im asking whats the issue / whats the reason and no one is telling us. They drive off without even telling me where exactly he would be going (im not from Mykonos) Once he got to the station they then showed him a picture of a random black guy who looked nothing like him apart from the fact both guys are black (it was NOT my hubby who is even 6’ 5” so not that many people would look like him anyway). This random guy is the person they were actually looking for as he apparently stole something (again NOT my hubby). After seeing they have the wrong person, they let my husband go and of course they did not even say sorry 😖 The arrest should not have even happened in the first place. Sad part is everyone else has been very nice here, apart from the police 🤢 @Visit Greece This was honestly so so scary , especially in a foreign country.
